Join the Princess and the Unicorn for tea and cookies in the Dressage Explorers Tent.
Take a selfie at the yellow ribbon stations around the show grounds. When you’ve got all five, take the pics to the gift shop for your prize.
Exciting Vaulting Exhibition
Vaulting enjoys an ancient heritage and can probably be described as one of the oldest known forms of equestrian sport. Often described as gymnastics performed on horseback, vaulting's origins can be traced back to Roman games which included acrobatic displays performed on cantering horses.
This year, DAD will host the Silver Moon Vaulters from Suffolk, Virginia. Head Coach, Cindy Rohrer and Assistant Coach Lucy Rohrer will bring vaulters, their horse Fancy (a very forgiving horse but don’t go near her ears) and barrels – their vaulting training tool for those who want to try this exciting equestrian discipline.
Their exhibitions will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Cindy and Lucy will be on the grounds and happy to talk about vaulting and to introduce their human and equine team members.
