Get ready for an exciting day of camaraderie, competition, and giving back at the 20th Annual Charity Golf Challenge. Taking place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Bensalem Township Country Club, this milestone event hosted by the Bensalem Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) celebrates two decades of supporting local organizations and making a meaningful impact in the Bensalem community.
Over the past 19 years, BEDC has donated an impressive $500,000 to community initiatives, and this year’s event continues that tradition by supporting Bensalem Little League, Gary Sinise Foundation (Vets), Libertae Bensalem, Love Tabernacle Food Pantry, Police Activities League, Relay For Life Bensalem, Rescue Purrfect, STEM Scholarship Bensalem High School, Sunshine Foundation, Tifereth Israel Food Pantry, United for Alice, and Women’s Animal Center.
Participants will enjoy a full day of activities, beginning with registration, bag drop, and practice at 10:30 a.m., brunch at 10:45 a.m., and a Noon shotgun start with a scramble format. The day concludes with cocktails, a buffet dinner, awards, and prizes at 5 p.m.
Former Pennsylvania State Senator Tommy Tomlinson is serving as this year’s honorary chair. Faulkner Automotive Group once again is taking the lead as Presenting Sponsor, while Parx Casino is Premier Sponsor.
Golfers will also have the opportunity to experience the newly renovated Bensalem Township Country Club. In addition to refreshed dining areas, a facelift for the Owl’s Nest, and renovated locker rooms, you will enjoy playing on the upgraded 18-hole, par-70 course. Renowned as one of the finest golf courses in the Delaware Valley, enhancements include improved teeing grounds, cart paths, and bunkers.
In addition to friendly competition, participants can look forward to exciting contests and prizes, including a chance to win a 2026 Buick Envision provided by Faulkner Automotive Group, with a hole-in-one, as well as raffle opportunities and pro shop gift certificates.
“Whether you’re an avid golfer, a local business, or someone who simply wants to support the community, the Charity Golf Challenge offers a meaningful way to get involved, as all proceeds help to strengthen and uplift the Bensalem community,” said Bob Norkus, Executive Director.
Golfer packages ($250 for an individual, $500 for a twosome, and $900 for a foursome) include green fees, golf cart for two, practice area, brunch, a beverage on the course, cocktails, and dinner.
Available sponsorships range from $1,500 to $5,000 and include company signage opportunities, banquet recognition, and complete registration packages for four golfers.
