From the crossing of the Delaware through the subsequent American and British military engagements at Trenton, Princeton, and areas in-between, this tour will bring to life the history changing events of Washington’s army between December 25, 1776 – January 3, 1777.
The public bus tours will be offered on December 7th and December 27th in 2024 as well as January 4th and 17th in 2025 from 9 AM to 4 PM. It begins and ends at Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania.
Historical interpreters Roger Williams and Larry Kidder will tell the remarkable story of the ten days that breathed crucial new life into the apparently expiring American Revolution. The events are discussed in the context of the local, strategically important central New Jersey towns, villages, and farms.
The next public bus tours will be offered on December 7th and December 27th, 2024 and January 4th and January 17th 2025. Tours last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..
The cost is $145 per person and includes bus fare, boxed lunch, and donations to Washington Crossing Historic Park, The Washington Crossing Park Association in New Jersey, The Old Barracks Museum in Trenton, and Princeton Battlefield Society.
