Top 10 Trees for Your Property

Bucks Beautiful is pleased to announce the return of its educational lecture series with "Top 10 Trees for Your Property," an engaging and informative presentation by arborist Dominic Zimmaro.

Choosing the right tree is one of the smartest investments you can make for your landscape. During this presentation, attendees will discover the best trees for beauty, shade, wildlife habitat, and long-term success. Whether planting a single specimen tree or designing a larger landscape, participants will learn how to select trees that thrive in our region, enhance property value, support pollinators and wildlife, and provide lasting environmental benefits. The program will offer practical guidance to help homeowners make informed planting decisions for healthier, more resilient landscapes.

Dominic Zimmaro is a Bucks County native whose passion for nature and the outdoors began through his involvement in the Boy Scouts. He joined Bartlett Tree Experts in 2021, where he has continued to build his expertise in tree care and plant health.  A certified Pennsylvania State Pesticide Applicator, Mr. Zimmaro serves as an Arborist Representative and is supported by the diagnostic resources of the Bartlett Tree Research Laboratories. He enjoys helping clients make informed decisions to maintain the health of their trees and shrubs while achieving their landscape goals.

Mr. Zimmaro also serves on the Board of Directors of Bucks Beautiful, where he chairs the RePlant Bucks reforestation committee, helping expand tree canopy and promote environmental stewardship throughout Bucks County.

The lecture will be held Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the James-Lorah Memorial Home Auditorium, 100 N. Broad Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for mingling, with the presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Admission is $10 for the general public, $5 for Bucks County Master Gardeners, and free for Bucks Beautiful and Doylestown VIA members.
