"The Quiet Season is what I refer to as the months from Winter into early Spring where the farmland is dormant, resting from the busy growing season. But the phrase becomes a deeper meaning for these preserved farms where farming operations have diminished, or altogether stopped. The Quiet Season for these old farms with their weathered barns and rambling old fence lines means they've entered a period of grace where time passes, and their stories remain to be discovered." - Jane Ramsey
"The Quiet Season," continues the story of the Ulrich Farm and neighboring farms in upper Bucks County.
A collection of new works - watercolors, drawings and monotype pieces reflects my continued inspiration of the surroundings in the classic Bucks County countryside. Neighboring farms and back country roads are forever changing from season to season. In addition to the new work on the gallery walls, my sketchbooks will be available for viewing.
Opening Reception: Friday, October 24 from 4-7 pm
& Saturday, October 25 from 12-4 pm
