Riley Campbell, a senior at Central Bucks High School South, has been accepted to the prestigious Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University, one of the most selective honors colleges among U.S. public universities.
Each year, approximately 300 students are selected from more than 7,000 applicants across Penn State’s campuses for the highly competitive program. Schreyer Scholars benefit from advanced undergraduate research opportunities culminating in an honors thesis, individual faculty mentorship, and small honors courses.
Campbell will attend Penn State Berks this fall, where she plans to major in biology with an emphasis on genetic research. In addition to her academic pursuits, she will compete as a member of the Penn State Berks women’s basketball team in the United East Athletic Conference.
A Chalfont resident, Campbell represents Central Bucks South as one of the few local students selected each year for Penn State’s highly selective honors college.
