For many of us, summer camp wasn't just about cabins, campfires or canoeing. It was where we discovered something new about ourselves. We tried different things, built lifelong friendships and returned home believing just a little more was possible.
Philadelphia-area entrepreneurs Heather Kay and Pam Seplow believe that feeling shouldn't end with childhood. That’s what inspired Camp Strengths, a new venture built around a simple idea: What if the best parts of camp could be reimagined for adults?
Its flagship experience, Overnight Camp, takes place October 15-16 at the historic Settlers Inn in Hawley, Pennsylvania. More than a getaway or traditional professional development program, it's an elevated camp experience designed to help women discover the strengths and talents that come most naturally to them, then intentionally leverage those strengths to achieve the goals that matter most.
Through engaging activities, meaningful conversations and strengths-based coaching, campers gain a deeper understanding of what naturally makes them successful, create a personalized action plan for what's next and leave with practical tools, renewed clarity and a supportive community that encourages them long after camp ends.
Heather Kay, Co-Founder, Camp Strengths says, “This isn't simply a weekend away or another retreat. It's a transformative opportunity to discover what naturally makes you successful, define what you want next and leave with a plan to intentionally use your strengths to get there.
Camp Strengths also offers Pitch Camp, a half-day experience designed specifically for people seeking their next opportunity. Rather than simply preparing for interviews, participants learn how to identify the strengths behind their past successes and communicate them in a way that changes the conversation from what they've done to what they're capable of doing next.
