The "12 Days of Giving" is a heartfelt thank-you campaign from the new owners of Bernie Robbins Jewelers to their customers and the community. This campaign celebrates the extraordinary story of Bernie Robbins Jewelers and the transition of ownership that allowed its legacy to continue. Stephen Berman, Gennifer Flaxman, Steve Jaffe, Andy Lazar, and Sandra Moran are the new owners of the two Bernie Robbins locations in Somers Point, NJ, and Newtown, PA. From Monday, December 9, through Friday, December 20—12 days—visitors who complete a simple form via QR code will be entered to win designer jewelry and many other prizes. No purchase is necessary.
Gennifer Flaxman said, “We are all so grateful for the opportunity of ownership that was bestowed on us by the Rovinskys that we wanted to extend our own demonstration of gratitude to our customers and the community. We hope the gifts of designer jewelry do that, as well as our appreciation of family by supporting the charity www.helpusadopt.org. Bernie Robbins Jewelers was run by Bernie’s family for 60 years and that legacy was passed down to us, five people who feel like a part of their family.”
The jewelry lines participating in this give-back program are Roberto Coin, Marco Bicego, Penny Preville, Frederique Constant, Uneek, Wolf 1834, Shy Creation, Sorellina and more. Here’s a taste of what is being offered: a Penny Preville diamond necklace (value $3500); a Frederique Constant diamond watch (value $1195), Marco Bicego earrings (value $2450), a Roberto Coin Venetian Princess Necklace (value $2040) and also a travel package, a children’s package and more. Each evening a winner is randomly selected and if someone doesn’t win the first day, they are automatically included in the following days.
In addition, Bernie Robbins Jewelers is giving a percentage of sales to www.helpusadopt.org, demonstrating the value they all place on family. This is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of ethnicity, gender, marital status, race, religion, or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $30,000. A cause very special to the group, as Lazar was adopted and he and his wife later adopted their son Mark and Flaxman and her husband adopted their son Spencer. Flaxman was a board member of this group, and she knows firsthand the incredible positive impact they make. She said, “I had the privilege of selecting families who would receive these grants, and each story tugged at my heart more than the next. I am thrilled that our group of owners, who value the families who shop with us and our own families, have agreed that www.helpusadopt.org is meaningful to us all.”
The demonstration of gratefulness extended by this new leadership team of Bernie Robbins is because they are overwhelmed by the loyalty of their customers and the support of the community. Moran said, “We are so appreciative of the whole community that has supported us and made this transition so smooth. We are thrilled to offer the 12 Days of Giving and to support www.helpusadopt.org as our way of saying ‘thank you very, very much.’”
