Jasmine Barnes
The Bach Choir of Bethlehem invites you to an exclusive premiere performance of an original composition by the Emmy Award-winning composer, Jasmine Arielle Barnes, as part of our February Bach at Noon concert. This free concert provides the community with an exceptional opportunity to experience the debut of a brand-new piece of music, all while being in the presence of the composer herself, Jasmine Barnes, who will be in attendance. We are thrilled to serve as a commissioning partner for this historic occasion and to be the first people to bring this new piece to life.
Christopher Jackson, Artistic Director and Conductor, emphasizes the significance of this concert, stating, "It is a rare and very special occasion when The Bach Choir premiers a brand-new commission by a living composer. We are truly honored to play a role in Jasmine Barnes' journey as a composer and to have the privilege of presenting her piece to the public for the very first time."
Join us on February 13th at 12:10 pm for a premiere performance and be among the first to experience the magic of Jasmine Barnes' latest composition, at the Central Moravian Church. Don't miss this chance to be a part of musical history!
