Jean buzgo
Jean Childs Buzgo’s new Solo Exhibition, Explorations, is her largest and most diverse show to date. Her newest body of work will have over 40 new pieces created over the last 18 months.
Her distinctive, energetic brushstrokes are juxtaposed with balanced compositions and invigorated with a mood-driven new color palette. “Exploring different color mixes, subjects and approaches keeps things fresh and exciting for me.”
In addition to local Bucks and Hunterdon County scenes, there are dramatic and intense garden scenes, created mostly from imagination and “a desire to paint in a stream of consciousness, free-flowing form, letting nature take over.”
Buzgo further explains, “Nature provides the best subjects, composition and story, you’ve just got to harness it. Capturing my explorations in paint and creating lasting images of these inspirational scenes that people can enjoy for years to come is my goal. I’m translating my experiences with nature, architecture and an emotional reaction to these places. I want people to feel as if they are there in the moment.”
Opening Receptions are Saturday, September 28th 5-8pm & Sunday, September 29th 1-4 pm at The Silverman Gallery in Buckingham PA. The show will run through October 27th. www.silvermangallery.com.
