The Warrington Township Police Department’s third annual Kruisin’ with K9s Car Show will take place on Saturday, September 16 from 3-7 p.m. (rain date September 17) at the Shops at Valley Square, 1501 Main Street, Warrington, PA. The event will feature vintage, antique and custom cars, food, music, a moon bounce, a 50/50 drawing, a raffle and lots of K9s.
Police K9 units from Warrington and other local police departments will be on hand for K9 demonstrations. There will also be an opportunity to see police vehicles up close and meet Warrington Police Department K9s Jolie, Murphy and their K9 counterparts from the K9 units in attendance. Proceeds from the event benefit the Warrington Township K9 unit.
Kruisin’ with K9s is free for spectators. For those who want to enter their car, the cost is $20 the day of the car show and there will be dashboard plaques given to the first 75 cars that sign up. More than 40 trophies will be awarded in a variety of categories.
Fred Gaines, Chair, Warrington Township Board of Supervisors, stated, “The Warrington K-9 program is a great asset to the community and the Krusin’ for K9 Car Show is a good way for the community to interact with the members of the Warrington Police Department, while raising funds for the K9 program.”
“We look forward to this event every year and it is a treat to see all the vintage and custom cars on display,” stated Daniel Friel, Chief of Police, Warrington Township Police Department. “If you like cars or are looking for a fun, family friendly event benefitting a great cause, we’d love to see you at the Kruisin’ with K9s Car Show.”
