Philadelphia Craft Show
The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show highlights the very best in contemporary craft and design. Show dates are November 8-10, 2019 with a Preview Party on November 7. This year, 195 artists from the United States plus 22 guest artists from Israel will participate in the Show held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Meet the artists and hear firsthand how they create works in fiber, glass, metal, wood and clay. Work is available for sale.
Produced by The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, this annual juried Craft Show is a fundraiser for the Museum. Over the last 42 years more than $13 million in proceeds went to the Museum. The impact of the Show can be seen throughout the Museum with funds used to support the purchase of equipment, publications, programs including the Art Splash family program, and special exhibitions.
“This year’s show will continue our long-standing tradition of bringing the finest in contemporary craft and design to Philadelphia”, says Show Chair Anja Levitties. “We are excited for our visitors to join us over the weekend of November 8-10 as we welcome master craftspeople, emerging artists, and guest artists from Israel.”
The Show is held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th & Arch St, Philadelphia, PA. For more information and to purchase tickets, call 215-684-7930 or visit: http://www.pmacraftshow.org/about-the-show.
