Dr. Shahzad Ahmed, a board-certified cardiologist, trained in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, has joined Lower Bucks Hospital’s BMC Cardiology Practice LLC.
Dr. Ahmed has advanced specialization in coronary interventions, peripheral arterial and venous disease, and structural heart disease and is a leading expert in heart and rhythm disorders, including congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, vascular disease, sudden death prevention, and critical limb ischemia. He also specializes in nuclear stress testing, echocardiograms, and vascular testing.

Dr. Ahmed comes to Lower Bucks Hospital’s BMC Cardiology Practice with years of clinical cardiology experience. After completing his internal medicine residency at Drexel University College of Medicine Philadelphia, he continued his training as an Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Fellow at Drexel. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)
