Endless Mountains
The wine industry is flourishing in the Endless Mountains and there’s more than one way to experience the delicious, local, handcrafted wines unique to the region.
From distinct specialty wines to the traditional varietals, you can sample them all at the wineries of the Endless Mountains. A brochure featuring 10 wineries will lead you on a self-guided tasting tour throughout the Endless Mountains and beyond. Each stop will offer you a different taste, a different story, and a different memory.
Another fun way to please your palate is to spend a day at a wine festival. The Wyalusing Valley Wine Festival, held in September on the Wyalusing Valley Museum grounds just off Route 6 in Wyalusing, is an event that has been drawing crowds from all around with plenty of wine for the tasting, food, craft and other vendors, and great entertainment throughout the day. The Tunkhannock Rotary Harvest & Wine Festival is a fun, entertaining, laid back event where people can enjoy a day of tasting and hanging out with friends. Held in October at Lazybrook Park off Route 6 in Tunkhannock, the festival features Pennsylvania wineries, a harvest theme, locally produced products, and live entertainment.
