Advertising campaign for the Emergency Department at St Mary Medical Center
Over the last 40 years, St. Mary Medical Center has grown from a single three-story building into the most comprehensive medical center in Bucks County, comprised of multiple interconnected, medical buildings, and several off-campus care facilities. A reflection of the community, St. Mary is continually adapting to meet the changing needs of those we serve, distinguishing us as the most trusted and preferred provider of highly skilled, compassionate medical care in the region.
To meet the growing need for healthcare services in our community, St. Mary expanded its Emergency Department and Trauma Center to introduce the split-flow model of care, a faster, smarter way designed to treat patients quicker. The Bristol-Myers-Squibb Pediatric Emergency Care Center and the state-accredited Regional Trauma Center at St. Mary Medical Center remain the first and only facilities of their kind in Bucks County. Four new state-of-the-art Operating Rooms with highly sophisticated software integration systems, a new Intensive Care Unit with Neurosciences Capabilities, and renovations of patient care areas to convert them to all private room, also are among new services and technology.
St. Mary recently began construction of a Rehabilitation Hospital, expected to open in Spring 2014. This freestanding, dedicated rehabilitation hospital will be the first of its kind in Bucks County and will provide highly specialized treatment for a variety of conditions such as stroke, brain, spinal cord, and orthopedic injuries.
