Building on its over fifty-year legacy of caring for the elderly, Pickering Manor expanded its footprint with a new, two-story, state-of-the-art, 26,000 square-foot building. The project included the addition of a neighborhood, dedicated to short-term rehabilitation, featuring 15-private rooms, roof terrace, private and community dining areas, and direct access to a new rehabilitation gym. The expansion also included a new, personal care neighborhood, consisting of 15-private rooms with kitchenettes, expanded living options, outdoor gardens and patios, multiple activity areas, a media room, and fitness studio. Renovations to the current long-term skilled neighborhood and a new memory care neighborhood will soon follow.
Pickering Manor focuses on customizing care options to each individual’s personal needs. Pickering offers vibrant and comfortable lifestyles, with a wide range of activities and services, designed to enable residents to live life to the fullest.
Pickering will continue to maintain an intimate community and familial setting, making meaningful differences in the lives of older adults.
Pickering also continues to maintain a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services – the highest score possible.
