A Catered Aff
by Mary Beth Schwartz
When the holidays come around, there are so many things on my checklist. A visit to Oxford Valley Mall for my kids’ photo with Santa Claus. A train ride on the North Pole Express. Decorating the Christmas tree. A drive through the Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm. And, last but not least, preparing the great Christmas feast. But thanks to McCaffrey’s, my holiday event this year is sure to be spectacular.
According to Jim McCaffrey, President and CEO of McCaffrey’s, the full-service catering offered by McCaffrey’s includes theme and menu planning, specialty chef serving stations, serving staff and bartenders, equipment rental, coffee/tea/beverage services, setup and cleanup, unique floral arrangements, and specialty cakes.
“We have a 33,000-square-foot commissary at our headquarters in Langhorne. The facility features state-of-the-art kitchens. There are 60 people that work at this location, including two event planners and a team of superb culinary chefs. Our talented chefs have been educated at such prestigious schools as Johnson & Wales and The Culinary Institute of America. Most of our chefs have been in the restaurant industry,” McCaffrey says.
