Quakertown’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a family-friendly fun evening in our downtown to welcome the holiday season. As people gather downtown on West Broad Street, families can shop our downtown merchants, enjoy the traditional free cookies and hot cocoa at Sine’s 5 &10, enjoy our unique gift vendors and treats, the Live Nativity presented by East Swamp Church, and sing Christmas carols along with the QCHS Varsity Singers, the St. Isidore Children’s Chorus, and follow our strolling Victorian Carolers as they bring Christmas cheer to the businesses downtown. Please bring a non-perishable food item to help fill the shelves of the Quakertown Food Pantry – donations can be left at the East Swamp Church booth.
Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 7PM on a Quakertown fire truck to light the Borough Christmas Tree. Bring your cameras to get a picture of your children with Santa! The Festival is held on On December 6 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
