During Morven in May, on Friday, May 17 is the Spring Garden Party, the first celebration honoring the property’s 20 years as an established museum. This community-building evening raises necessary funds to provide illuminating exhibitions, inspiring educational programing, and the preservation of this National Historic Landmark. Reunite with friends, both new and old, in Morven’s backyard garden at the peak of peony season, guests will enjoy delicious food, spirited beverages, lively music and more!
Join Morven for a celebration of renewal, connection, and shared support in this exciting, pivotal year as the organization launches into the next decade! Incorporated as a museum in 2004, Morven was built in the 1750’s as the home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and Annis Boudinot Stockton, one of America’s first female poets. A detailed look at its history can be seen at the new special exhibition Morven Revealed, opening April 2024.
Morven Museum & Garden is located at 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ. Museum hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The gardens are free to wander daily from dawn to dusk. For more information, contact 609-924-8144 or info@morven.org.
