The gala will be held at Hotel Du Village, benefitting the arts center's programming and future expansion initiatives. In addition, the evening will offer exciting silent and live auctions hosted by New Hope Mayor and NHA’s Chairman of the Board, Laurence Keller. The auction will feature unique work, ranging from fine art to magnificent sculptures, from some of the region’s prized artists. The list of artists to be auctioned during the gala evening include: Robert Beck, Malcom Bray, Kevin Kopil, Michelle Lester, Justin Long, Sean Mount, and Rye Tippett.
Longtime Chairman of the Board, Mayor Laurence Keller, states: “We are delighted to see that founder Robin Larsen’s nascent vision continues to grow and come to life. It's not only an honor, but a true community inspiration to be part of New Hope Arts and witness the reality of our collective passion and commitment. Our area’s arts scene is truly elevating, and I’m proud to say that the New Hope Arts Center has been a valuable and treasured contributor and surely deserves celebrating. I’m eager to be at the auction podium to engage the community for one of New Hope’s greatest causes on May 24th!”
In addition to the auctions, guests will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, small plates, libations, and live music by New Hope's treasured entertainer, Bob Egan, while meeting fellow supporters and Board Members to learn about the future, transformational plans for the Art Center.
“This Gala is a true celebration of all the artists, patrons, members, volunteers, and others who have passionately supported our institution for the past two decades. Having everyone in the same room, energized by our next chapter, is simply exhilarating. Our auctions for the evening will not only raise funds but showcase the quality and generosity of work and opportunities provided by our participating Arts Community.” – NHA Executive Director Carol Cruickshanks

About New Hope Arts Center: New Hope Arts (NHA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to furthering New Hope's heritage as a center for art and artists. NHA serves an integral role in showcasing contemporary artists' work within New Hope and Lambertville and throughout the Delaware Valley. New Hope Arts supports artists by fostering opportunities, providing space to create, collaborate, and present while offering residents and visitors access to a vibrant array of visual, performing, and literary arts. NHA further provides a welcoming forum to emerging artists who would otherwise not have access to a professional exhibition setting while introducing new audiences to their work. Annually, NHA organizes significant exhibitions, including sculpture, wood, painting, photography, fine artisan crafts, and new media installations. It is individual donors, Board Members and foundations, and community members who provide the support necessary to offer such programs and events. Recognition of NHA's service to the arts includes funding from The PNC Foundation Arts Alive program, the Community, the Economic Development Grant from the State of PA, and The Bucks County Visitors Bureau. With custodian and Executive Director Carol Cruickshanks in place and at the helm, founder Robin Larsen's vision kept alive, ever-evolving, and ever-elevating since her NHA conception in 2002.
