New Hope has a fascinating history as a social hub for the artist community, and Chez Odette was one of its most iconic stomping grounds. Setting out to pay homage to the fabric of our community and its unique heritage, River House at Odette’s is honoring this rich history with a monthly exhibition series as a continuation of our mission to celebrate the spirit of Odette and her talented neighbors.
The new monthly art series celebrates local artists with curated exhibitions open to the public/local community. To honor the spirit of Odette, as well as New Hope’s highly acclaimed female artists in celebration of National Women’s Month, the series will kick off with a showcase by New Hope artist, Pearl Mintzer who will be on hand the evening of March 16th to share inspiration and method behind her work. The second event in the series will be held April 20th, celebrating works by Gordon Haas and the third event will celebrate the work of Jimmy Glossblack on June 15, 2021.
A portion of the proceeds from any works of art purchased during the event will benefit New Hope Arts, a nonprofit regional arts center dedicated to furthering the heritage of New Hope as a vital regional arts center.
River House at Odette’s is located at 274 South River Road, New Hope, PA. For more information about River House at Odette’s, visit www.riverhousenewhope.com.
