5K Fun run
Bucks County families attending last summer’s Windmill Day School & Camp race day festivities stopped by The Fresh Air Fund’s table to learn more about hosting a New York City child.
Join Windmill Day School & Camp and Fresh Air Fund families for a 5K Run & Kids Fun Run on Saturday July 12th, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. at Windmill Day School & Camp located on 36 N. Chapman Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
Proceeds from the 5K Run will benefit The Fresh Air Fund, a not-for-profit agency, which has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million New York City children from low-income communities since 1877. Each summer, over 4,000 children visit volunteer host families in rural, suburban and small town communities across 13 states from Virginia to Maine and Canada.
Families with children enrolled in Windmill Day School & Camp and interested in hosting through The Fresh Air Fund, will receive a free camp membership for their Fresh Air child.
