Roger Cook
Art by Bucks County artist Rajie Cook is on display at the New Jersey State Museum. “America, through Artists’ Eyes, features works by contemporary New Jersey artists who were asked to define and depict America in the visual manner most appropriate to their own personal ideology, style and convictions,” is the description of this show found on the Museum Website: http://www.nj.gov/state/museum. Rajie Cook, an internationally known graphic designer, photographer and artist, lives in Dennis, MA and Washington Crossing, PA. He has been the President of Cook and Shanosky Associates, Inc., a graphic design firm he founded in 1967 in New York City. The firm produced all forms of corporate communications and received the Presidential Award for Design Excellence from President Reagan and Elizabeth Dole on January 30,1984 in the Indian Treaty Room of the Old Executive Office Building in Washington, DC. In 1999, after 46 years as a graphic designer, Cook found time to explore this new medium, sculptural "assemblage.” America Through Artists’ Eyes is on display at the New Jersey State Museum until April 5, 2015.
