The Bucks County Community College Foundation (BCCCF) is proud to hold its seventeenth annual “Salute to Mothers Scholarship Tea Event” on Friday, April 19th, from 1 – 3 pm at the Newtown, PA campus. Year after year, the distinctive afternoon raises scholarship funds for current student mothers who attend the Bucks County Community College. Guests of the fundraising event relish in a tented tea affair situated within the exquisite Tyler Gardens as they are served classic gourmet tea sandwiches, tea, and desserts. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite springtime hats, flaunting their millinery best and their support of student mothers. Live entertainment is provided by violinist and vocalist Claudia Pellegrini. Tickets are $65.00 each and can be purchased at: http://www.salutetomothers.net/.
“As someone who works directly with the people this scholarship supports, it is particularly meaningful to continue serving on this committee and carry on the great work Betty Tsai started seventeen years ago,” said Amy Masgay, Office of Student Affairs, Salute to Mothers Scholarship Tea Planning Committee Member. “The generosity of last year’s Salute to Mothers Scholarship Tea attendees and contributors allowed us to support 34 Bucks students in their pursuit of higher education.
