“Chasing Turner,” The Hutchins Galleries through April 19
Friend and art collaborator, C.a. Shofed’s breathtaking new exhibit at The Hutchins Galleries. Delighted to share that two of my collaborations, “Daylight 5!” and “HOO Let The Trash Out” are on display. PS, I've got my eye on our next collaboration -- https://www.lawrenceville.org/life-at-lawrencevile/campus/hutchins-galleries.
“Remembering Yonatan Gutin,” Art of Nova, Chelsea, New York City, April 11
My most challenging project... How do you honor the memory of a brave young man who perished after saving the lives of three families on October 7? I hope and pray that my memorial will give some comfort to Yonatan’s family in the days and years ahead. And to the world at large, may we find kindness and a path to peace –https://posh.vip/e/art-of-nova
“Escapades of My Mind,” Investors Bank Art & Healing Gallery, Capital Health, Opening Reception, June 18
I'm excited to circle back to Capital Health where my involvement with the healing arts began more than ten years ago. In this building, I witnessed first-hand how art can transform life’s most beautiful and challenging moments. These experiences have shaped me and impacted the way I make art prodding me to be uninhibited and free of judgement.
In the studio, my hands are in charge. They reveal my stories; and speak of my emotions often obscured in my mind. On my foundation, faces, places, and spaces come to life. They unfold at their own pace. I started my involvement in the healing arts here at Capital Health more than ten years ago, fascinated at how art transforms life’s most beautiful and challenging moments. These experiences have shaped me and impacted the way I make art prodding me to be uninhibited and free of judgement. The music playing is often my guide as are sunrise walks, life’s joy, and hardships both grand and small. As you view my art; I hope it will touch you in some manner. It is my belief that art nourishes the soul like food feeds the body. I am eager to give Capital Health and its employees, patients, and visitors the sustenance it so greatly deserves.
