The Gallery extends many thanks to the generous award sponsors, and to the two exemplary jurors for this year’s submissions: Mavis Smith – best known for her paintings in egg tempera, has exhibited her paintings in Amsterdam, Santa Fe, and New York City, as well as a one-person show at the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA; and Rhonda Garland – who directs the Silverman Gallery of Bucks County, which showcases the work of artists who reflect the traditions of regional Impressionism. Rhonda is also a painter and expert calligrapher, for which she has won a number of awards.
