In Garden
Traditional azaleas are a perennial favorite among homeowners. They are easy to grow in Bucks County provided they are protected from deer browsing. Spring blooming azaleas add huge amounts of flower color to the landscape around Mother’s Day as well as great foliage color in the fall. This garden has tall native oaks that give dappled shade to an understory of native white dogwood, salmon and white azaleas, plus hostas, ferns, and hellebores. Stepping stones lead up to a metal belvedere which adds interest and height to the garden without appearing too heavy. A pedestaled urn centered within is planted with seasonal annuals for a continuous color accent. In The Garden is a modern gardening firm specializing in horticultural services for those who desire an environment of excellence and beauty. David Mount is the owner and operator of In The Garden.
