Donna Dvorak
Most people know Donna Dvorak as being one of our Bucks County writers since 1993, as well as an author of three books. However, she also possesses a passion for painting that represents itself in the abundance of canvases that line the walls of art galleries, restaurants and private homes world wide.
Art and writing are basically forms of expression, she says. When writing a book or article Im creating a picture with words. When painting a canvas Im capturing color that becomes similar to penning a novel. Creativity flows either way and presents a whisper into the artists mind and how they few the world.
Whether painting with acrylics or oils on canvas or board, or huge abstract paintings created with a perfectly wielded palette knife, she leaves the hectic world behind, isolates herself in her studio/office, blasts Pavarotti, the Tenors, or old fashioned rock and roll and takes herself into another world with paint one of beauty. She has been in numerous galleries in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, Old City Philadelphia, Bella Vista, New Jersey and more.
Donna's art can now be seen at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital, Founder's Hall and The Main Hall, 100 Medical Drive, Lansdale, PA
