Jump

One of my subscribers Carly who resides in the Pocono Mountains is passionate when it comes to working out. She is also my neighbor, not here in Bucks County, but in the Pocono Mountains. She has enough fitness equipment that could train an army! Her latest piece she added to the mix is the JumpSport Trampoline.
She made sure to call me when she got it because she knew I would want to look into it since we aren’t talking about the typical trampoline we jumped on when we were kids. This is the JumpSport with handlebar and resistance cords. Yes, you work out the whole body. And get this, Trampoline exercise is better for seniors than walking. Yes, that’s right. Expanding a similar amount of energy while rebounding dramatically reduces the amount of pressure originated and therefore reduces the stress on joints and muscles.
Carly stole my attention and had me heading for the hills to the Poconos! When I finally made the trip up there, Carley was so eager to show me all the exercises that could be done on the JumpSport. She has the JumpSport Fitness Strength Training Kit that gives her exercises after exercises with the added trampoline attachments, handle, and footsteps to work your whole body.
I did mention the workout handlebar earlier which is optional but a real plus to have. As soon as I got on it, I liked it right away. It’s a very smooth non-jarring bounce with less effort. It’s sturdy and quiet and has no strings. What is really great about the JumpSport is it’s made with bungee cords instead of springs. And what does this mean? You can jump without any pain in your ankles, knees, or hips. Terrific for seniors. It’s not hard on the body at all.
We’re not talking about one of those real big backyard trampolines which are linked to injuries and those ER visits. The new research study is focused specifically on mini trampolines designed essentially for fitness. They are available for home use and can be found in gyms and fitness studios. I continue doing various exercises on the JumpSport Trampoline, I am really having a lot of fun with this. Jumping for joy! Trampolining maintains a cardiovascular focus but reduces impact by a whopping 40% which means you are less likely to injure joints research says.
The JumpStart can burn a serious number of calories too. With its low impact nature, a 10-minute trampoline session can burn the same amount of fat as a 30-minute run. It adds up to 1,000 calories an hour. Your metabolic rate is able to process nutrients more effectively. Science says you can actually bounce your way to strong bones. Our bones grow stronger and denser in response to the exercise which is important for helping prevent injury in the long run. And that’s not all–a trampolining workout improves balance. The more you practice the more you’ll see an increase in your motor skills and coordination.
Carly was showing me all the online free JumpSport exercise videos. The exercises are working the whole body. I tried some trampoline lunges, cross kicks, squats, mat planks, push-ups, and Carly handed me her resistance bands to mix it up. After that I took her kettle ball to add to more of the exercises. I’ve always liked jumping jacks but who knew there was a funnier and more effective way to do them! And there is so many of the online videos that is perfect for you.
It doesn’t matter what age or if you are an amateur or advanced. This may sound cheesy, or even corny, but I feel like a kid again!
