Hatboro
Hatboro Federal Savings has a lot to celebrate this year! As they commemorate 75 years of exceptional service to Hatboro and the surrounding communities, Hatboro Federal is proud to be unique in their industry for some of the things they have never done – like change their name or merge with another bank. Founded on February 3, 1941, Hatboro Federal has remained true to their mission of being a community bank - serving families, businesses and organizations with a full array of banking products and superior customer service.
Beginning with a single location in 1941, Hatboro Federal has expanded to four locations, including landmark, historic structures in Hatboro and Warrington and additional branches in Warminster and Jamison. As they evolve with the times and continue to offer all of the products, services and new technology that make banking easy and convenient for all of their customers, Hatboro Federal stays true to their mission of being a real community bank.
Hatboro Federal prides itself on doing business only in the communities it serves. All of the money people deposit with them—and the loans they make—stay in the neighborhoods where their customers live and work. The bank is passionate about supporting projects that benefit education and youth, donating funds for countless local groups and organizations throughout the years.
Remaining independent and local allows the bank to focus on and support Hatboro and the surrounding communities. “The bank started with $25,000 in assets in 1941,” said President and CEO Linda R. Roehner. “While we have grown both in assets and services, we haven’t forgotten where we were born. Being headquartered in the area allows us to support many community organizations, such as Hatboro-Horsham Education Foundation, UM Education Foundation, Centennial Education Foundation, CB Cares, Union Library of Hatboro, College Settlement of Horsham, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County and various local Rotary clubs and other nonprofit organizations.” She continued, “Of course, we plan to spend the next 75 years serving area families, businesses and organizations.”
To commemorate its 75th birthday, Hatboro Federal will hold a series of prize drawings from April through September. The prizes for each month will include local restaurant gift cards, tablets and large screen TVs, to name a few.
Local residents and business owners are invited to stop into any of Hatboro Federal’s four branch locations to complete an entry form and try their luck at winning one of the prizes.
For Hatboro Federal, the best part of growing old is the unwavering loyalty of their customers and the communities they serve. They are here to stay; here to help. In 1941 and in 2016, Hatboro Federal wouldn’t have it any other way.
