Please join Jennifer for her artist’s receptions taking place on Saturday, December 2nd from 5 to 8 pm and on Sunday afternoon, December 3rd from 1 to 4pm. The exhibition runs through January 15, 2018.
Little gems. That is the best description for the offering of small vignettes that Jennifer has captured in oils. Rolli’s elegant and painterly style, attention to detail and choice of subject matter is evocative of times and places fondly remembered. Paintings from everyday travels on Bucks County and NJ roads, shore vacations and iconic city-scapes combine to make the exhibition a delightful sampling of the scope of this talented artist’s work. Thursday Rain III will take you into New York City and make you forget about the weather. Drying Rack brings you inside with the smell of freshly washed linens.
Other paintings in varying sizes are just as appealing. Rolli’s Tinicum Festival is a vivid rendering of a lovely day out and about in Bucks County. Young Dancers in Midnight is her take on the final moments before a local ballet recital. Views of the Delaware River and signature Rolli farms, skies and landscapes will also be on display.
Jennifer has been an integral part of the gallery since it opened in March of 2011. Her many collectors since then number in the hundreds, with new people finding out about her work from advertising and the fact that her paintings grace the covers of both Bucks County and Montco Magazines. “Her work provides great interest and continuity to our publications, it grabs your attention and leaves you wanting more,” said editor/publisher Bob Waite.
It also brings people into the gallery on a regular basis. “I often have people in with a magazine or Bucks County Herald ad in their hands, asking to see a particular painting, saying that it reminds them of their childhood home or favorite walking path in Bucks County,” says Rhonda Garland, Silverman Gallery owner. “Herman would be proud to see how Jenny continues to bring paintings that have the “wow factor!” The gallery’s founder, Herman Silverman passed away earlier in the year and was a huge fan of Rolli’s work.
Jennifer is a prolific and dedicated artist, having success as a writer and illustrator of children’s book as well.
