Serving Bucks County, Montgomery County, and parts of New Jersey, Marrazzo’s North River Landscape & Hardscape is family owned and operated by Anthony and Diane Marrazzo. The Marrazzo family has served the community for 35 years. Anthony was raised in a family of florists, designers, and landscapers. North River Landscape & Hardscape, with a yard in Morrisville and office in Wycombe, has been in business for nine years. “Anthony is the owner. I am design and sales. Our son Anthony, Jr. is an integral part of the business as well. He is certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). We also are regarded as a preferred professional installer for EP Henry,” Diane Marrazzo says.
North River Landscape & Hardscape is known for their creative use of space, whether it be a small or large property, as well as sticking to the client’s budget. They offer a soup to nuts list of services. If you want landscape design, the company has the in-depth knowledge on the materials. There is a 10-acre nursery site where clients can visit and select items for their project. If you are in search of accent outdoor lighting, North River Landscape & Hardscape helps clients extend the use of outdoor living spaces. Perhaps you would like to implement a rainwater harvesting system? Maybe you need to clean up. You can select from monthly, spring or fall maintenance plans. The crews also can do tree and stump removal. During the chilly months, North River Landscape & Hardscape offers snow removal and deicing. Last but not least are hardscapes. The list includes retaining walls, Bluestone patios, driveway overhauls, stepper stones, outdoor kitchens, seating, walkways, and pavers. “We have designed and built thousands of natural stone installations. North River hand selects stone straight from local quarries. We are skilled in natural stones, EP Henry and Unilock® pavers, and cast veneer stones. We also create unique hardscapes by integrating the use of various woods,” Diane Marrazzo says.
“So what is popular right now?” I asked the Marrazzos. According to Diane Marrazzo, outdoor fire pits are universally popular. North River Landscape & Hardscape designs and installs boulder fire pits. These unstructured natural elements take the rigidity out of ordinary patio design. They are made comfy cozy with strategically placed Adirondack chairs. “You feel like you are glamping—enjoying the outdoors without giving up luxury. We are adding glamour to fire pitting.”
Over at EP Henry, they have seen a few product trends, according to Director of Marketing Marianne Anzaldo. Their biggest product innovation in the past several years is the Cast Stone Wall Collection. “It comprises a proprietary process of marrying dry cast block with wet cast faces to provide a beautiful stone appearance in a very easy to build system. And it’s a complete family of products, including garden walls, retaining walls, free standing/seat walls, and even a fire pit kit.” On the pavers side, there is a trend towards larger scale pavers. “They are made in a range of new colors to complement our Cast Stone Wall Collection.” Anzaldo also is seeing a growing interest in thin porcelain tiles for outdoor paving applications.
Whether it is an EP Henry product, sod work, irrigation solution, or a twelve-month outdoor kitchen complete with a cabana, built-in grill, custom cabinetry, task lighting, ceiling fan, heater, and TV, North River Landscape & Hardscape offers personalized attention to every client. “We take the stress out of the landscaping process by affordably offering creative, one-of-a-kind designs for every outdoor space, with premium installation that is backed by a warranty. North River helps clients get the most out of their yard by building them an oasis. All they have to do is find the time to spend in it,” Diane Marrazzo says.
