OrthopaediCare, one of the Philadelphia region’s largest orthopaedic practices is merging with Rothman Institute under the Rothman Institute name. The move brings four new offices and 17 physicians to Rothman Institute. The partnership begins January 1, 2016 and follows the merger of Jefferson and Abington Health Systems.
“We’re honored and excited to bring the outstanding physicians of OrthopaediCare to Rothman Institute,” said Alexander R. Vaccaro, MD, PhD, MBA, President of Rothman Institute, Richard H. Rothman Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics, and Professor of Neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals. “They have a sterling reputation and are firmly entrenched in the Montgomery and Bucks County communities they serve. We anticipate a seamless transition for patients and are eager to expand on their full line of orthopaedic services.”
“The decision to partner with Rothman Institute was a natural one with the merger of our respective health systems,” said Andrew M.
