47th Annual Yardley Harvest Day
Yardley Harvest Day celebrates its 47th year on Saturday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Yardley Borough. The location includes Canal Street, East College Avenue, Bell Avenue and The Fitzgerald Sommer Field.
This year’s event the continues the tradition of providing something for everyone and is a great way to spend an autumn day. At the heart of the event is the over 125 premier artists and crafters, who will be selling their high quality and unique handmade creations. It is not too soon to start thinking of the holidays and attendees will find something for everyone on their shopping lists!
New this year is a food court, which will be located in the Community field, where attendees will be able to choose from an amazing variety of different eats throughout the day.
The Thompson Organization will be featuring new 2017 models from their dealership and you will want to be sure to check them out. WPST will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. – noon and will have a van onsite with lots of goodies to give away.
The day would not be complete with a wide variety of kid’s activities. In addition to the pumpkin painting and face painting, as well as a photo booth, this year we welcome Mickey Mouse with his huge inflatable Playland, as well as a trailer with interactive games for younger festival attendees.
There will be first class live musical entertainment in the Community field from noon until 5 p.m.
Don’t forget to stop by the non-profit booths as there are local organizations who work tirelessly, often in the background, who need your support.
Yardley Harvest Day is also a celebration of historic Yardley Borough and its eclectic assortment of businesses, shops and eateries, and are perfect places to visit after enjoying Harvest Day.
