Gratz Gallery & Conservation Studio is proud to announce a special private collection exhibition from Saturday, June 9 through Friday, August 31, 2012. The paintings were purchased over many years by one of the country’s most prominent collectors of American Impressionism, specifically the New Hope School, and have not been available on the market for years.
The collection features two beautiful paintings by Daniel Garber. Fellow Impressionist Edward Redfield’s work is also included in the exhibition. Additional highlights include a selection of works by Fern Coppedge and a very rare example of fellow Philadelphia Ten alumnae, Helen Kiner McCarthy’s work. There are also paintings by Harry Leith-Ross, Kenneth Nunamaker, Rae Sloan Bredin, Mary Elizabeth Price, William Francis Taylor and Roy Nuse. A rare oil on canvas by Frank F. English is also available.
A catalog of the show will be available on the Gratz Gallery & Conservation Studio Website prior to the event. Gratz Gallery & Conservation Studio is located at 68 S. Main Street in Doylestown.
